Children's Care, Learning and Development NVQ Level 2

Suitable For:
Those working with children from 0 – 16 (and their families) in settings or services whose main purpose is children’s care, learning and development. It is designed for all workers, whether full or part time, paid or voluntary.
The Course
The course is delivered by a combination of on site assessment, learner statements, witness testimonies and questioning with attendance at off the job training sessions as required.
Course content includes
To achieve a level 2 NVQ, you must complete a total of seven units - six mandatory and one optional.Mandatory units
- Contribute to positive relationships
- Help to keep children safe
- Support children’s development
- Use support to develop own practice in children’s care, learning and development
- Prepare and maintain environments to meet children’s needs
- Support children’s play and learning
