Sheaf Training is a newly refurbished site offering a wide range of exciting learning opportunities for all ages. The centre features a new health and well being suite designed in partnership with the NHS and enhanced IT facilities including high definition video conferencing in our Virtual Classroom.

Specialising in Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, Childcare, Hospitality and Catering and Cleaning,  Sheaf offers a variety of programmes for both young people 16-18 and adults 19+ ranging from Entry Level to Levels 1,2, 3 and 4.  An Initial assessment is offered to correctly match your current skill level with a suitable course and to ensure you receive the support you need to acheive your goals.

Get ahead in work, education or daily life by building your English, Mathematics and ICT skills with the Functional Skills qualifications.

Functional Skills are practical skills in English, maths and information and communications technology (ICT).

They are a new set of qualifications available to all learners aged 14 and above (although it will be possible to take them at a younger age too).

Functional Skills are not just about knowledge in English, maths and ICT,  they are also about knowing when and how to use the knowledge in real life situations.
